The IIMC Foundation recently converted the period for scholarship use to the calendar year. The new Scholarship Application Period opens on September 1 and closes on November 15 of each year. Recipients are selected in December funding programs taking place during the following calendar year.

IIMC Annual Conference Grants
The Conference Grant Program is designed to allow 2 IIMC members from each of IIMC’s 11 regions to attend the IIMC Annual Conference each may. If awarded a grant, the IIMC Foundation will cover the cost of your IIMC Annual Conference Registration. The application period for a grant to attend the 2024 IIMC annual conference in Calgary, Alberta, Canada opens on October 1 and extends through February 12, 2024. Application submission portal will open October 1st.

CMC/MMC Scholarships

This scholarship program has been designed to assist with the costs of attending an IIMC approved in-person or virtual Institute or Academy program for those working toward IIMC's professional designations. The scholarship program was established in 1986 for Clerks attending IIMC Institutes. Since the program's inception, more than 1,500 scholarships have been awarded.
Scholarship recipients receive up to a $400 CMC or $400 MMC scholarship reimbursement after completion of the program.

Jim Tinnin Online Scholarship Program
Former Ohio Institute Director and Foundation Board Member Jim Tinnin, created a restricted endowment to fund a scholarship program specifically designed to support online learning.
This program annually offers two eligible IIMC Members in each Region (I through XI) an opportunity to receive a $100 scholarship that can be applied toward registration expenses for any of the existing online learning opportunities found on the IIMC website.
Applicants must have an Admission for CMC or MMC Application on file with IIMC and be active members. If the number of applications exceeds available funds, recipients will be selected by random draw. The Foundation may award additional scholarships dependent upon funding availability.

Thirty two recipients were notified in November for funding of online programs completed January 1 through December 31, 2023. Reimbursement occurs after completion of the online program.
